TeslaCorsa 4 at Laguna Seca

RECAP: Event #4 – June 28th (Pre-Run) and June 29th (Main Event), 2019

TeslaCorsa 4 for the first time visited WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca.  This was the first Northern California event for the series and saw an outstanding turnout, with the main Saturday event selling out within days of announcement.  Model 3's dominated this event with only a single Tesla Model S taking to the track.  However, numerous Model S's and Model X's and even an original Tesla Roadster came to participate in the festivities in the paddock.

The weather cooperated for the weekend which allowed for pleasurable driving, parking and socializing in mild Monterey weather.

The world famous Laguna Seca racetrack was a new experience for many drivers and it's unique up-and-down mountainous terrain is a challenge for even the most experienced drivers.

The most famous part of the track is the "Corkscrew" which takes the driver through a quick Left-Right sequence while also dropping dramatically down the hill.

While each driver had about 1 hour and 20 minutes of track time each day, there was still plenty of time for charging and hanging out with fellow Tesla owners.
